Synopsis: Ghetta Life -
an uplifting tale of a determined, Jamaican teenager achieving his
dreams, despite a community and family torn apart by political
corruption.
The Kingston ghetto is divided along party political lines. With
allegiances set at birth, each new election brings a wave of unrest and
violence.

Derrick,
known as Baller for his soccer skills, surreptitiously joins a boxing
gym after winning a fight with a local bully. But the gym is
headquarters for the opposite party garrison. Derrick is sucked into
the middle of the tribal war and has to learn that there are good
people as well as bad on both sides of the political divide.
